SMACC (Contemporary English) |
|
SMACC stands for ‘St. Mary’s Anglican Cathedral Contemporary’. There is an emphasis on God’s Word at these meetings– expository preaching is the norm and we tend to work through books of the Bible. The gatherings seek to be characterized by: Solid Bible Teaching Music that is Biblical and contemporary A warm welcome Community of God’s people who love and serve each other Concern for the lost who need to hear the Gospel.
SMACC1 (Morning SMACC) SMACC1 meets at 10:30am on Sunday Mornings in the Multi Purpose Hall. The Multi Purpose is ajoined to the main Cathedral and can be accessed through the side entrance by the bookshop.
A crèche is provided and a Youth Group runs in the Cathedral building as well. Children whose parents are in SMACC are brought back together by Sunday School teachers after Sunday School.
SMACC2 (Evening SMACC) SMACC2 meets at 5pm in the Multi Purpose Hall as well. The congregation is made up mostly of young chinese workers, but all are welcome! Much more information about SMACC including our recent sermons download service is available here.
