Tuesday Night Training (TNT) is a good and systematic way for all of us to keep studying God’s Word and to be trained for ministry.

TNT takes place on Tuesday nights as the name may give away, from 8.00 - 10.00 pm.

Theological courses (for this term Bible Overview, Ephesians, Doctrine 2 and Apologetics) are offered in partnership with Equip Gospel Ministries as part of the Equip-MBS Certificate in Theology.

Ministry Skills courses (for this term 'Cross Cultural Conversations') are offered independently.

Bible Overview - Andrew Cheah

Learn how the whole Bible fits together. Bible Overview unfolds the major themes of God and His plan of redemption, from Genesis to Revelation and shows how the different pieces of the Bible fit together and point to Jesus.

Ephesians - Martin Rushworth

This letter teaches us that we can only understand the present by relating it to what God has done in the past, and therefore to his intentions for the future. Ephesians presents a big picture, with cosmic dimensions, of God and his world for us to take in.

How do we answer people’s questions about Christianity? This course presents guidelines on how to develop a reasoned biblical approach.

Cross Cultural Conversations - Michael Wong

(9 sessions)

This ministry skills course is aimed at equipping Christians to bridge daily conversations of today to the gospel by engaging seekers cross culturally, wisely, graciously and persuasively using the Old Testament and New Testament truths. Topics of the 9 sessions course are:

1. Decoding seekers' beliefs
2. Surfacing the truth
3. Uncovering real barriers
4. Bridging the gaps
5. Engaging unbelief
6. Engaging existing worldviews
7. Art of asking to move forward in gospel conversations
8. Art of answering objections to move forward in gospel conversations
9. Helping people crossover over their barriers

If you're not a regular member of St Mary's Cathedral, a nominal fee of RM20 per person will be charged for materials.
